Who are Organ Donors?

Organ Donors are Heroes! In the simplest of terms, heroes save lives and so do Organ Donors. Organs Donors are moms, dads, kids, teenagers, grandparents, relatives, most of them complete strangers. Over 20,000 lives where saved just last year, because of the goodness and courage of over 13,000 Organ Donors. Almost 6,800 of these people were Living Donors who gave a kidney or a part of their own liver or lung to save someone's life. But we still have a long way to go. Over 6,500 Americans also died last year only because a lifesaving organ did not become available for them. Please join the ranks of these Heroes!

But we still have a long way to go. Over 7,000 Americans also died last year only because a lifesaving organ did not become available for them. Please join the Heroes!
